If you are on long term medication, eg for asthma or diabetes, then to make things easier for you, the doctor may give you a repeat prescription.
You will be given your usual prescription and an attached computerised re-ordering slip (right hand side of your prescription).
To obtain further prescriptions that have previously been authorised by a doctor, please use one of the following options:-
- Mark items required on the computerised slip (right hand side of your prescription) and place it in the box in the waiting area.
- Complete the computerised slip (right hand side of your prescription) and post it to the practice. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want prescription posting back out to you.
- Via our online services, available 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
Large numbers of requests for repeat prescriptions are processed daily.
Prescriptions will be ready for collection 48 hours after ordering (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Please do not request medication which has not been previously authorised for repeat by a doctor.
You will need to periodically see a doctor to review your medication and this will be shown on your re-order slip.
