Nature and Mental Health

It's Mental Health Awareness Week (10 - 16 May) and this year's theme is connecting with nature. Nature can have a positive impact on emotional wellbeing, and it has for many over this year in particular.

There's plenty of ways to connect with nature and bring the outdoors inside - and you can check out some of the ideas on the Samaritans site.

SystmOnline Messages

Patients are able to send messages directly to the surgery, using their SystmOnline Account.

Messages are monitored by the Reception Team, who will forward messages on or deal with them just as they would do if you were to phone the surgery.

Messages are transmitted using a secure platform, they are auditable and form part of the patient record.

From the SystmOnline "Homepage", under "Your Account". Select "New Message". Type your message and "Send".

NOTE: MESSAGES WILL ONLY BE MONITORED DURING OFFICE HOURS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.
